Rainbow Almond cake

This is the cake I learn from the anchor cake demo session. As my oven is small so can only bake 3 layer at a time.. And 2nd attempt to make the Italian butter cream this time better result


2nd attempt on Swiss Roll

Today tried on making Swiss roll again. This time used a different method- separate egg method. Result better then 1st time, as know how to roll better

Swiss Roll

After a few attempt before, find it quite difficult to make a nice Swiss roll. Today make another attempt for Swiss roll by this famous cake teacher from Taiwan.

I use the chiffon cake method to make the Swiss roll. Quite easy to roll up and this is my first successful Swiss roll. 

Ee's birthday cake

Make this train cake according to a cake book. But instead of using butter cream I used whipped cream thinking that it will be taken well..

The cake turn out quite nice to look at but not so nice.. But well the birthday boy liked the cake.

My younger son turning 4 years old next week

This is the cake the I had make for Ee for his 4th Birthday Celebration. At first I wanted to make a Thomas fondant cake but the local supplies shop was out of fondant. So had to go for another plan. This is a chocolate cake with Oreo cream. The Thomas picture was make from chocolate.. Very rough hand work..

Thomas cookies

Use the cookies recipes from Bake 350's book. Taste nice but it was not as easy as she say that can take the cookie up easily. Decorate Thomas picture on the cookies but the black colour was quite difficult.
