Oreo Butter Cake
Made this Oreo butter cake due to my youngest son wanting to make some cake. The quickest recipe to make is therefore butter cake. I used the recipe from Wendyinkk blogspot where the recipe was from this Mrs Ngks. Texture was nice. The recipe called for size B egg. But I thought since I was adding Oreo so might be a bit dry so I used size A eggs instead.

Japanese Cotton Cheese Cake
Inspired to try on making a Japanese Cotton Cheese Cake. This recipe is adapted from KitchenTigeress's blogspot. She even posted a video on how to make a good cheese cake. The cake is very fine, not so sweet and very soft.
Light Cheddar Cheese Cake
I had made this light cheddar cheese cake. Very light cake and it was a bit water on the bottom so next time will need to bake for more than 60 minutes. This cake recipe is from
Jay Ee 5th birthday cake
Forgotten to post the cake that I had made for my baby Jay Ee who celebrated his 5th birthday. I made a chocolate cake with ganache filling covered in whip cream. Kids just love the combination. And now he is a big fan of Darth Vader so I had made a chocolate Darth Vader picture to put on top of the cake

Steamed Red Bean Bao
Suddenly felt like making this steamed red bean bao. Had attempted to made it last few days however was a failure. Not sure was it because of the flour, yeast or not enough time for it to double in size. The previous attempt failed.
So I decided to re try the recipe again as it had been recommended by Happy home baking. So I bought new flour for Pau and new instant yeast and let if proof for an hour or double in size before putting in the repacked fillings.
And this time my effort was rewarded with a nice, yummy pao. Thanks to Happy Home Baking for her sharing in the recipe.
